Playoff Berths on the Line tnite as Week 10 unfolds; Belmont wins City League

With Week 10 meaning so much to so many teams in the Miami Valley, here are some of the key Games in this Week.

Trotwood  @ Wayne (☆☆☆☆☆) 
 2 of the Most successful teams in the Miami Valley in the last 2 decades battle it out for a spot in the Playoffs.  
With both teams at 6-3, this is a must win for both teams.
Can Wayne knock off the State Champs?

Alter.    vs C-J.   (☆☆☆☆☆) 
With Alter rolling with 8 straight wins, can they keep it up and hurt Chaminade chances of making the playoffs?
Alter is already in; CJ needs to win, but has been limping to the finish line.


Fairmont  @ Springfield  (☆☆☆☆)
Springfield is already in the playoffs with a thrilling OT win over Wayne last week.
With a home win they could salvage a home playoff game.
Fairmont is 6-3 & needs help to get in with a win tonight.


Northmont.  Vs Miamisburg (☆☆☆☆) 
In a game featuring 2 upstart teams, Northmont is already in playoffs, wanting a home game. Miamisburg, sitting at 6-3, needs to win.
Both teams have the weaponry to win this game.


Vandaila Butler.   @  Tippecanoe.  (☆☆☆☆) 
In a game that features a team who has been in the playoffs recently (Tipp) but will look to play spoiler role as Butler (6-3)  looks to host a home game with a big win.


Thurgood  vs  Ponitz (☆☆☆) 
In a game that will feature 2 of the best players in the City in V'Sean Palmer (Thurgood) & Bryson Flucas (Meadowdale).
Who will win this huge rivalry game?
With a win Thurgood would move to 4-6 on the season, a nice boost after starting 0-4.




THURSDAY NIGHT RECAP:
BELMONT WINS CITY LEAGUE, ROLLS PAST LIONS 50-14 



 BELMONT left no doubt who was the top dog in Dayton Public Schools, as they romped Meadowdale (3-7) by the score of 50-14 at Welcome Stadium.

The win puts Belmont at 5-5, giving them a tie or winning season 4 years straight.

While it wasnt a banner year for Bison head coach Earl White, he hopes his young team will understand the importance of the hardcore schedule he played as they prep for next year.

The loss drops Meadowdale to 3-7 on the season.
