Bison look to gain respect in State Polls, take on Ponitz tonight

The Belmont Bison look to stay atop the SWOPL and try to push up the polls tonight as they take on the ponitz Panthers at Welcome Stadium. The Bison have given up a total of 12 points in six games this season, yet still hasn't made a blemish on the ohsaa state poll.

While the Bison don't have the most flamboyant style of play, there is no denying how good they are.

The Bison stand at 6-0, give up 2ppg, & face a solid team in Ponitz, who has won of their last 3 games. With a great mind like Jim Place on the other side, coach Earl White and the Bison know it will be a test.

However the Bison have a great ground game, a stout O-Line, a rising star QB, and Senior leadership which could lead them deep into the OHSAA playoffs.

If the Bison can win tonight, will they finally crack the OHSAA State poll in Week 7?

Game starts at 7pm.
