Top Games For Week 3; Can Trotwood defeat Columbus Power? Wayne to take on Canadian squad; C-J to battle Meadowdale;

Here's the top games for week 3 as team starting to hit their stride in the regular season in the Miami Valley. There are some interesting Dayton vs Columbus matchups, which will show up in the OHSAA point standings as well.
Can Thurgood knock off Belmont in the City League game of the Week?

Trotwood (2-0)  @ Pickerington Central (2-0)
Trotwood comes into this matchup with a couple of big wins and a lot of juice heading into a premiere matchup with Columbus finest as Pickerington has knocked off a couple of top powers already this year.
Can Trotwood go into Pickerington and get a big road win?
Look for a big Rams showing.

Carroll (2-0)  @ Sidney  (2-0)
With Isiah Bowser leading the way, can Sidney show they are forreal? Bowser set a record last week for yards, and the combo of him and Andre Gordon is enough for the Yellow Jackets to think playoffs. They will be tested severely by a tough Carroll squad.

Clarkson North (Ottawa)  @  Wayne (1-1)
Can the Wayne Train continue like they did last week with a big shutout win against a power from Canada? Clarkson hasn't had a great start to the season for the Canadian squad, as they are playing against the best competition in the country, and we'll get no let up as the Wayne Train comes off a shutout win against Olentangy. Look for a big "Blue" showing and more from QB Rashad McKee  tonight as Wayne will have his first home game.

C-J (0-2)  @ Meadowdale (0-2)
Can Chaminade get a win against the Lions, who have a new coach and  in tow? The Eagles have been blindsided in the first 2 weeks and both teams desperately need a win who will win in this Friday night Clash at Welcome Stadium?

Belmont  (2-0)  vs  Thurgood (0-2) @ Welcome Stadium (Saturday)
In the Dayton public schools game of the week, can Thurgood pull off the big upset over what looks like a playoff molded Belmont team?

Thurgood look tough in game 1, but in game 2 they were shut out by Alter.
Belmont has already had two good weeks and will be looking to put it's imprint on the City and the SWOPL.
Running back Elijah Malcolm has been a stud with 6 Tds into in the first 2 weeks.

Pickerington North  @ Centerville  (2-0)
The Elks look to go to 3-0 under a new coaching regime but will be going against a tough Pickerington team who will be up to task.

Loveland  @ Miamisburg (2-0)
Can Miamisburg continue its great play to go to 3-0  against a solid Loveland team? With WR Tyler Johnson making plays, Miamisburg should be ready to go with its fiery coach.

Dunbar (1-1) @ Mt Healthy
Can Dunbar continue what they did in the second half of the last game? The Wolverines must get off to a good start, as they haven't had the best of luck on the road in the past few seasons.
Star WR JoJo Scates broke out last game, so look for RB Tavion Thomas to do the same this week.
Mount Healthy is a tough team and plays well at home so Dunbar will have its hands full tonight.

Franklin (2-0) @ Piqua (1-1)
In what will be possibly the game of the week, can Franklin and its high-powered offense
- led by do it all RB Montgomery -continue it's onslaught against a determined Piqua Squad who was left out of the playoffs last year and seems to be playing with a chip on their shoulders?
Piqua took a tough loss last week to Trotwood, but Trotwood is one of the best teams in the state.

Xenia  (1-1)  @  Alter (1-1)
Can Xenia continue after a positive showing last week and pull off a big upset this week against alter?
The Knights bounced back with a thumping of Thurgood, and knows that every game is crucial for them to make the playoffs. Xenia has some good talent, but can they play to the level of alter tonight?

West Carrollton (1-1) @ Preble Shawnee
Can West Carrollton win the second game in a row for the first time it over 10 years?
The Pirates pulled out a resounding victory against Northridge last week, but now that they are on the road can they step up to the task?
