Rams look for 3rd State Title; Program of the Decade?

Rams look to win 3rd State Title in School History

The Trotwood Rams,  the only team standing in the Dayton area in the OHSAA Football Playoffs, will be vying for its 3rd State Title in the last 10 years as they will take on Mansfield Senior at Cantons Hall of Fame Stadium (3pm EST).

While the Rams have endured adversity like no other this year, it is assured that the coaching staff and the community have kept them focused on the mission at hand:

(1) Showing OHSAA and the entire state of Ohio that, in essence,  they are the Program of the Decade,
and
(2) Becoming a National power that can survive without the services of the GWOC.

And while most teams would have folded, Ram Nation wouldn't let that happen - not with the Elite coaching staff in place and the support within the organization which, in reality,  will help them survive being a Nationally Independent power team next year.

Lets focus on the season for a minute.
After the first game of the season, things were looking a little shaky.
A blowout loss to a top team in the opener had some people thinking that this could be a rebuilding year.

That notion was dispelled after the Rams reeled off 7 straight victories en route to a playoff spot.

Once in the playoffs, the Rams used a dynamic offense with a experienced and supremely talented defense to victories against Wapakoneta and St Marys Memorial.
Add the revenge factor and the mere fact that the Rams have had a chip on their shoulder all season?

Trotwood jumped out on Badin and would not be denied and they now sit in the Championship game after winning their 2nd Championship just 3 years ago.

They will be taking on a loaded Mansfield Senior team who will be playing in their first ever State Title Game.

With the entire city of  Trotwood and Dayton on their back, the Rams will try to win their 3rd  State Title and possibly stake claim that they could be considered the "Football Program of the Decade" in Ohio.

With all the success and pain that they have endured in the calendar year, the Rams seem to be on another level when they hit the field.

Especially in the playoffs. The focus has been laser sharp.

With one last obstacle in the Rams way, can Head Coach Jeff Graham bring the Rams their 3rd State Championship?
